Trade Post is a boutique real estate company founded by Buck Armstrong. We acquire retail buildings across Texas and transform them into hubs that provide local goods and services to the immediate community. By focusing on small-format spaces and local partnerships, we create high-character places that foster authentic, lasting connections.
Buck Armstrong + Founder
Buck brings over nine years of commercial real estate experience spanning billion-dollar public company mergers, retail and multifamily development, and the operation of manufactured housing communities. Buck began his career in J.P. Morgan’s Real Estate Investment Banking group before returning to Austin in 2018 to join Stratus Properties, where he focused on retail and multifamily projects. In 2022, he launched Wilson Field Communities to acquire and operate manufactured housing and RV communities. With this breadth of experience, Buck created Trade Post to build meaningful spaces rooted in community and designed for lasting impact.
